Enterprise journals provide updated information o¬n different industry sectors whose workforce exhibits above-average levels of self-employment. Each issue focuses o¬n specific industry sectors that may be of interest to young people, such as the film industry, leisure and sport industry and motor industry.

Workshops aim to develop problem-solving skills. Students must understand the context of the problem and analyse the information available so as to come up with conclusions and new ideas.

Giving secondary school students insight into the reality of different jobs required in a specific industry sector can encourage them to play an active role in the industry instead of assuming a passive o¬ne as consumers.
