[edit] Description
Half-day meetings are organised for people who wish to take over a business on a regular basis (every 3 to 4 weeks). Two coaches moderate the group guiding people through discussions which help them develop their energy and potential to carry out their objectives. The meetings are free and open and there is no obligation to attend all sessions. Newcomers integrate the group at any time.
[edit] Justification/aim
The need for the regular coaching meetings was expressed by project beneficiaries themselves who, once called on to take part in a focus group meeting, asked to keep meeting as a network. The meetings help overcome the feeling of isolation that many people feel when they start or take over their own business. The group helps maintain people’s motivation by sharing their burdens and difficulties with other people in similar situations. There are also opportunities to learn from each other and from the coaches, who ensure the discussions move from the simple identification of problems to their understanding and the eventual suggestion of solutions.
